Inspections
  1. Inspect for compliance with best management practices
  2. Construction exits and entrances
    •  Install according to approved plan, if shown.
    •  Use 1.5″-3.” stone.
    •  Minimum pad width of 20 feet.
    •  Minimum pad length of 50 feet.
    •  Excavate footpring 3 inches.
    •  If tire washing is required, route runoff from washing to an approved
      sediment trap or sediment basin.
    •  Install filter fabric under the entire pad.
  3. Inspect discharge points and downstream off-site areas for impact.
  4. Walk the perimeter of the site.
  5. Inspect active areas.
  6. Inspect disturbed areas that are not currently being worked.
  7. Inspect disturbed areas with final stabilization.
  8. Take into account the overall site.
Ongoing Monitoring
  1. Rain Fall Measurements (will install devices and provide monitoring)
  2. Turbidity Meter Testing (we have our own equipment)
  3. Reporting of monitoring results to EPD by 15th day of the month.
  4. Retention of copies for records, including maintaining a complete file per job site.
  5. Silt Fence Installation inspection for proper operation as sediment barrier.
Reporting
  1. Provide monitoring results to EPD by the 15th day of the month.
  2. Provide monitoring results to contractor.
  3. Only submit report if a qualifying event occured.
  4. Send reports by certified mail, or similar accountable method.
  5. Retain copies of all records for each project.

 

WE WILL INSTALL SILT FENCING SEDIMENT BARRIERS!
We will install silt fencing for your job site as your approved sediment barrier. We will then provide ongoing monitoring to ensure that the barrier is not being unknowingly breached.
